Hello, my name is Omar A Rivera. I was born in Puerto Rico but raised locally here in Garland, TX (DFW). I started my career in the real estate industry back in 2004 working for a real estate attorney where I learned the business as an escrow assistant.  Within a year I was working as an escrow officer and became a mobile notary around the DFW area. Once the opportunity to gain experience presented itself, I made a career move and worked for another real estate attorney in the Richardson area to expand my knowledge. I was promoted to escrow officer/business developer helping generate business and closing my own loans. To continue the real estate career path, I moved to work at Fannie Mae in Addison as an on-site closing coordinator for REDC, one of the nation’s largest real estate auction companies which now goes by Auction.com. One of the title vendors took notice of my work ethic and requested I join the team, so I became the on-site account manager for a title company based out of Pittsburgh named NREIS. This move proved to be a good step as they then moved me to be an on-site account manager for the wholesale division at Nationstar Mortgage out in Lewisville. I had continued to work in the mortgage industry for Nationstar Mortgage now DBA Mr. Cooper as a Funder for over 9 years.  

Now as a licensed Realtor I completed all my required TREC courses and continuing education courses to better serve my clients and stay knowledgeable in the market.  This makes me confident that I will be an asset to any customer looking to purchase, sale, or lease a home as I have a good understanding of the real estate industry from multiple sides. On my spare time, I love spending time with my family, playing sports, and reading.
