Hi there – it’s so nice to “meet” you!

I’m Renee Taft, a Licensed Realtor® with Joy Michelle Realty Group, proudly serving Johnson County and the surrounding areas. I was born and raised here and now live in Joshua, Texas with my wonderful family.

Family is truly at the heart of everything I do. I’m married to my husband, Stephen Taft Jr., a Master Electrician, and together we’re raising our two boys, Laton and Zander. Life with two active boys keeps me busy in the best way—you’ll usually find me at football or baseball games, at the skatepark, or spending time outdoors golfing, hunting, fishing, or playing disc golf. I also enjoy thrifting and painting as a creative outlet. My faith, family, and time together are what keep me grounded and drive everything I do.

Before real estate, I built a strong background in accounting, which has given me a solid foundation in understanding numbers, contracts, and negotiations—skills I now use every day to advocate for my clients.

My passion for real estate started early, inspired by my grandmother, who was a professional interior designer. Some of my favorite childhood memories are touring homes with her, which sparked my love for architecture, design, and ultimately helping people find a place they truly call home.

I began my real estate career in 2019 and have had the privilege of working alongside the incredible Joy Michelle Realty Group ever since. Our team is built on integrity, excellence, and always putting our clients first.

What I love most about this business is the relationships I build. My clients quickly become my “Client Family,” and I’m honored to walk alongside them through some of the biggest milestones in their lives.
