Twana attributes her strong work ethic to her military family background. Her father is a proud veteran, and two of her brothers have also served in the military, instilling in her the values of discipline, integrity, and service. Born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas, Twana later relocated to the Dallas–Fort Worth area after graduating from high school. She now resides there with her husband of 28 years.
