I’m originally from the UK, with Irish parents, and yes, I still sound like someone who’s either about to sell you a house or narrate a BBC documentary. I moved to Colorado in 2017 with my wife, who somehow still puts up with me after decades of marriage, and we’ve raised two sons who are now fully grown and also live here.
We didn’t just buy a place - we built one. A carbon net zero home in Boulder County. Our architect and builder were nothing short of fabulous, and if you’re ever thinking about designing your dream place from scratch, I’ll happily introduce you.
I’m also the Director of Agent Development for our brokerage, which means I spend a fair bit of time teaching other agents not to say things like “open concept” when they actually mean “a house where you can see the fridge from the toilet.” Education matters, because buying or selling property is stressful enough without your agent winging it.
My warped British sense of humor comes in handy when you’re in the middle of a deal and everyone else has lost the plot. My goal is to make the process as painless as possible - keep you laughing while I’m paddling furiously behind the scenes like a duck on espresso.
I became a Realtor® because I actually like helping people. If it takes three years to find the right house, fine. If it takes a week, also fine. Between my wife and I, we’ve owned several rental properties, so I know the market from both the investor’s spreadsheet and the homeowner’s headache.
You’ll never hear me shout “This is the one!” like some desperate game show host - but I will happily yell “Run away!” if a property’s dodgy. My loyalty is to you, not the listing.
The best part of my job? That grin people get when they walk into their perfect home or step onto the land of their dreams. That’s when all the late-night paperwork, bad coffee, and sarcastic commentary pay off. I’ll be with you every step of the way, offering straight answers, market insights, and the occasional wisecrack at no extra charge.
