Buying or selling a home is one of the most significant financial decisions you will make—and it shouldn't be an overwhelming one.
As a Louisiana-licensed residential real estate broker and salesperson, I have been helping clients navigate the real estate process since 2004. I obtained my broker's license in 2014 and am proud to work with Shelly Wagner & Associates + JPAR.
What sets me apart is the depth of experience I bring to every transaction. In addition to my real estate career, I hold a master's degree and have more than 30 years of experience in fiscal management, contract negotiation, and personnel management. That background gives me a unique perspective when helping clients make important financial and contractual decisions.
For many buyers and sellers, the greatest source of stress isn't the property itself—it's not knowing what comes next.
There are contracts to understand, financial commitments to consider, deadlines to meet, negotiations to manage, and countless details that can easily become overwhelming. My job is to make those things understandable.
I take the time to explain the documents, procedures, financial obligations, and important decisions involved in your transaction. I want my clients to understand what they are signing, why it matters, and what to expect next.
Once you understand the process, the unknown becomes manageable—and the stress begins to disappear.
My background in contract negotiation and personnel management has taught me how to listen carefully, communicate effectively, recognize what matters most to people, and remain focused on achieving the desired outcome.
Whether I'm representing a buyer or seller, I approach negotiations with preparation, urgency, and attention to detail. My goal is to protect my client's interests while working toward the best possible price and contract terms.
I don't believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach to real estate. Your goals are your goals, and my responsibility is to understand them and work relentlessly to help you achieve them.
Real estate transactions involve deadlines, moving parts, and details that can have significant consequences. I believe in being proactive rather than reactive.
I monitor the details, communicate with the people involved, follow up, and keep the transaction moving forward. My clients quickly discover that I take their purchase or sale personally—not because I make the decision for them, but because I am deeply committed to helping them reach their destination.
I am not your average Realtor.
My clients experience an elevated level of commitment from the beginning of our relationship through the closing table and beyond.
Real estate is my profession, but helping people and giving back to my community are important parts of who I am.
I have a special passion for helping members of our military and public-service communities secure homes. These individuals and families dedicate so much to serving others, and I am honored to help them navigate the path toward homeownership.
A move later in life can represent a major transition. Downsizing isn't simply about selling a house and buying a smaller one—it can involve years of memories, possessions, financial considerations, and emotional decisions.
I enjoy helping clients in the 50+ age group approach this transition thoughtfully and confidently, making the process as organized and stress-free as possible.
Animals have always held a special place in my heart. I support efforts to find safe, loving homes for abandoned animals and value partnerships with animal-rescue organizations, including the ASPCA, PETA, and local animal shelters.
I also believe strongly in preserving the natural environments that make our communities special and provide safe spaces for people and animals. I support state parks and recreation agencies and organizations dedicated to protecting wildlife and our natural resources, including the National Parks and Wildlife Foundation.
Whether you're buying your first home, selling a longtime residence, relocating, downsizing, or simply trying to understand what your options are, you don't have to navigate the process alone.
I'll take the time to explain the process, answer your questions, negotiate on your behalf, and pay attention to the details that matter.
My goal is simple: to replace the stress of the unknown with knowledge, confidence, and a clear path forward.
When you're ready to make your next move, I'm ready to put my experience, negotiation skills, and commitment to work for you.
