Jason is a decorated combat veteran and community activist. After serving in the military, he worked in law enforcement until changing careers and becoming a Realtor. Jason worked in various real estate roles to include property management, non-profit tax credit properties, and residential sales. He also has throughout his life, maintained some sort of community service. In the early years of the AIDS epidemic Jason worked as an onsite manager and volunteer director for John XXIII AIDS Ministry, which provided end of life service for those completing their journey with AIDS; he served as president of Monterey Pride for two years running, He served as the service officer for Alexander Hamilton American Legion Post 448 in San Francisco, the AIDS Memorial Quilt in San Franciso. In 2019 Jason won a thirty year lawsuit with the military and won his GI Bill benefits which had been denied due to being discharged from the Army for being gay. In 2023, Jason graduated from City College in San Francisco with a Associate in Science Social and Behavioral Sciences degree; he also transferred to Towson University, where he began his undergraduate program in Psychology. He became a Broker and opened his first office in Columbia, Maryland, with his Fiance, Kevin Adson. Jason continues to serve his community opening a transitional house for homeless veterans in 2023. He was also honored by the Equality foundation sponsored by PG&E, for his community activism.
